Nelson is currently recruiting for an Operations Analyst for a temporary opportunity in San Jose.
Reporting into the Director, it is the responsibility of the Operations Analyst enter and create billing contracts into the Oracle Support Contracts module, assist in processing all booking and lease funding packages with accuracy and in a timely manner as required. Back up current operations analysts with filing all required compliance documents such as UCC filings. Interact with our bank partners to secure documentation and quick funding receipts from our partners. Maintain all files and documentation to ensure that all internal and external audit requirements are met.
Specific duties to include:
Enter all Network Subscription billing packages in to the Oracle Support Contracts Module
Facilitate the cancellation and re-entry of existing SCM billing contracts to facilitate new invoicing SKUs
Audit all customer purchase orders and billing authorizations for adherence to business requirements
Package all leasing orders for Order Management entry.
Prepare all documentation packages for customers then prepare funding packages for bank partners
Follow all orders through from Order Management to funding. Coordinate all cash applications.
Daily interaction with customers, internal business partners and bank partners
Manage activity reports and track all support booking and pass through payments
Coordinate any redistribution of misapplied lease payments and any required debit & credit memos
Monitor and track all A/R associated with program
Helps informally structure teams and tasks; may provide technical guidance across other functions and to client groups
Managing payment process and in country compliance requirements and to ensure Reseller / suppler invoices are settled in a timely manner
Managing metrics and business reports to management and stakeholders
Establishing and maintaining effective internal and external customer relationships
Review appropriate business control reports and proactively develop action plans to address the root cause of any deviations
Ability to manage in a changing environment including managing the implementation of new processes and systems
Capability to act as a liaison between multiple departments around the globe
Strong business math skills with a good customer service attitude
Ability to work cross-functionally with a dedication to customer satisfaction
General computer knowledge with the ability to learn/navigate complex tools & processes
Strong Business communication skills (both written & verbal)
Strong problem solving & decision making skills
Attention to detail/ Accuracy is imperative
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Effective time management and prioritization abilities
Additional tasks and responsibilities to include:
Project management involving cross collaboration with diverse functional teams to build processes and procedures for various aspects of business functions as they touch each constituency
B/S or B/A required
2+years’ experience working in sales operations, order management, or data entry. Equipment financing and/or captive experience preferred, Leasing operations knowledge and experience, or relevant experience in commercial lending environment is a plus.
