The Senior Systems Analyst for is responsible for managing and providing application administration, process improvement and project support for Corporate Finance. They will be supporting the analytical processes to provide enhanced financial results.
•Perform and review recurring tasks (such as allocation updates) and user support on timely basis
•Provide end user support for technical problems or application questions
•Perform system audits and reconciliations for data integrity and security
•Develop and document system administration policies and procedures
•Coordinate with internal technology group for resolution of application and infrastructure issues for support and user requests
•Work with software vendor/developer for upgrades, enhancements, fixes, and troubleshooting
•Track and resolve user support issues with current systems
•Develop and document requirements for enhancements and/or end-user deliverables
•Create and execute user acceptance testing for new systems and system enhancements
•Track and resolve enhancement and implementation issues with users and project team
•Maintain clear testing documentation for audit trail and reference for future projects
•Coordinate and communicate with users, Systems Administration, FTT, and contractors to implement, enhance, or create new or revised systems
•Gather and document business system and/or process requirements from business owners and subject matter experts
•Evaluate and determine system and process options for meeting business requirements
•Analyze system setup and data scheme for usage, setup, normalization of data, and validate data conversion
•Analyze workflow and systems to make recommendations for implementing improvements
•Monitor/manage work activities
•Guide team members and provide feedback and skills development
•Maintain good working relationships with project team members, internal customers (e.g. Corporate Finance), and external service vendors
•Provide end-user systems training as needed
•Participate in internal customer meetings to better understand requirements and challenges
•Bachelor’s degree in business and/or information technology related fields.
?Financial or Cost Accounting
?Personal computer applications (Microsoft Office)
?Securities, financial services, or accounting industry
•Experience with financial systems - PeopleSoft Enterprise Performance Management
•Experience with cost allocations using Allocation Manager and/or Activity Based Management in Peoplesoft Enterprise Performance Management
•Experience with Business Intelligence Reporting with tools such as Cognos Powerplay, Hyperion Essbase, or MicroStrategy.
•Business analysis for finance and/or information technology projects
